Are you comfortable being part of an artistic, academic environment and helping shape the growth of budding animators and digital media artists? We are seeking a live figure model for our course in "Figure and Motion" studies where your presence helps students understand form, gesture, movement, and anatomy up close.
What you'll do:
- Dramatically enhance students' learning by modelling dynamic and static poses ranging from short gestures of a few minutes to longer poses of an hour or more.
- Work in a respectful, studio environment alongside our faculty and students, supporting their creative process and visual education.
- Provide a human reference for form, motion, weight, balance and gesture, helping bridge theoretical learning and practical experience.
What we're looking for:
- Confidence and professionalism in working as a live figure model.
- The ability to hold poses and re-pose on schedule, with sensitivity to gesture, stability and subtlety of form.
- A comfortable demeanor in a studio setting?note that nudity is part of the assignment, framed as a serious educational tool, not performance.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a collaborative spirit.
- Prior experience modelling for figure drawing or life-drawing classes is preferred (though not strictly required).

Job Requirements:
Ability to stay relatively still for a period of time. Longer poses are done with seating provided.
Availability for Spring Semester 2026, during the daytime hours.
