We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented Intern Graphic Designer to support our design and marketing team. This internship offers hands-on experience working on real-world projects while learning industry-standard tools, workflows, and creative best practices. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, visually curious, and excited to build their portfolio in a collaborative environment.
This internship can be remote or based out of AccuWeather's New York City office.
Requirements
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in the creation of visual assets for digital and print platforms
Support design projects including social media graphics, presentations, ads, emails, and marketing collateral
Help maintain brand consistency across all creative materials
Collaborate with designers, marketers, and other team members on concepts and executions
Prepare files for production and assist with revisions based on feedback
Organize and manage design assets and files
Stay up to date on design trends and visual inspiration
QUALIFICATIONS
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field
Basic proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign); Figma is a plus
Strong visual sense, typography awareness, and attention to detail
Ability to take direction and apply feedback effectively
Good time management skills and ability to juggle multiple tasks
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
Motion graphics or video editing experience (After Effects, Premiere Pro)
Illustration or photography skills
Social media or digital marketing familiarity
