Description Overview
We are currently looking for a Graphic Designer to join our Graphics department in Allegan, MI. It is expected this individual be able to live within a commutable distance to our Allegan, MI office.
Scope of the Role
- Generate packaging art for a variety of over-the-counter medications and self-care products.
- Design artwork based on a variety of inputs: customer direction, engineering dies, marketing direction, and regulatory affairs labeling specifications.
- Check artwork for compliance with all labeling requirements and specifications, assuring no deviations. High level of accuracy required.
- Follow controlled workflow processes including electronic documentation for each project.
Experience Required
- Typically these skills are acquired with a Bachelor's degree in Graphics/Fine Arts or related field along with 2+ years professional experience
- Must have excellent command of Adobe Creative software including proficiency in Illustrator and Photoshop. Strong technical proficiency necessary.
- Must have strong attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills and ability to navigate complex systems
- Knowledge of multiple print processes preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Must be able to successfully manage multiple projects in electronic workflows to meet deadlines
- Must be able to work within established processes and use standard work instructions
- Ability to conceptualize/brainstorm new ideas
