Description

We are looking for a technically sound, mid-weight Graphic Designer to produce impactful and relevant concepts, designs and visuals across Hasbro’s portfolio of global brands, with a mission to deliver trend forward creative assets that embody our brand values, deliver the brand experience to our consumers and meet commercial objectives and exceed business targets.

In this role, you will help to set the creative direction for the brands and be responsible for designing and art directing high end graphics, style guides and creative tools - quickly and efficiently - across a wide variety of adjacent consumer product categories that compliment Hasbro’s Toy and Game business including, Fashion, Home, Electronics, Food & Beverage, Health & Wellbeing and more.

As you will be joining a relatively small team of designers, we require someone with a proactive, driven and problem-solving attitude who can bring high energy and a fresh, innovative perspective that will push creative boundaries and who will thrive on collaborating with multiple teams across the business to develop best-in-class assets.



Requirements

A day in the life of a Graphic Designer within Licensed Consumer Products Creative…

  • Design graphics, iconography, patterns, character compositions as well as product mockups.
  • Work as part of a team to conceptualise and implement innovative and impactful design solutions to reach a broad audience across all demographics, reinforce each brand's core values and which deliver against the global commercial strategy.
  • Play a pivotal and proactive role in capturing and sharing seasonal trend research to drive product innovation.
  • Develop style guides, asset packs, creative-led sales tools and pitch decks to excite and inspire internal and external partners.
  • Ability to work within Global Brand guidelines and align all creative with the Brand identity while rapidly growing across Consumer Product vast category mix.
  • Art direct vendors with clear and concise briefs.
  • Achieve key delivery dates and manage budget in line with agreement
  • Collaborate closely with other internal creative and brand team members to gain information and context for projects.
  • Be across the competitive landscape to ensure differentiation and strong market presence.

What you’ll bring…

  • Degree in Graphic Design or Fine Arts, or equivalent experience. Proficiency in full Adobe Suite CC (illustrator, photoshop, indesign), PowerPoint, Keynote and Acrobat
  • Significant demonstrable experience in Consumer Products licensing business and related industry
  • Understanding of print, digital and product manufacturing processes.
  • Understanding of character and story and how it translates to product.
  • Understanding of the commercial landscape whilst maintaining the core values and DNA of the brands
  • Confidence in presenting ideas clearly and articulating design direction both internally and externally
  • High level of creativity, passion and integrity.
  • Effective communication skills; orally, visually and in writing.
  • Passion for/curiosity about the Entertainment industry
  • Full understanding of how creative assets will be used across multiple product categories
  • Great organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines and react to high volume and demands of the role
  • Ability to work with team members in remote locations across the globe.
  • Effective interpersonal skills, and a positive team-player approach.
