Location: The company is located in Green Forest, Arkansas. Some limited travel may be required, but travel is not expected to exceed 5%. This role is primarily remote.

About the Role
We are seeking a creative and motivated Designer to join our dynamic team at NLPG. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about using visual design to enhance and communicate the messages within Christian literature.
NOTE: The specifics of the role may change based on the needs and expectations of the future head of product. However, we anticipate the intent of this role will largely be the same.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
1. Design book covers and interiors for a diverse range of Christian literature, including curriculum, ensuring that each design aligns with the book's message and target audience.
2. Collaborate with the editorial team to create compelling visuals for assigned projects.
3. Assist in the selection of typography, colors, and other design elements that reflect the Christian values and themes of our publications.
4. Provide creative input in team meetings and be open to feedback and revisions to ensure the highest quality of work.
5. Ensure all designs are in line with the company’s faith-based brand and design standards.
5. Stay updated on current design trends, within the Christian & book publishing industries.
6. Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and quality standards.
Requirements
Qualifications
Two year technical degree or Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Proficient in Adobe InDesign for book layout.
A strong portfolio demonstrating design skills and creativity.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Knowledge and respect for Christian beliefs and values.
Passion for books and a keen interest in the Christian publishing industry.
