All Dogs & Cats Veterinary Hospital in Glenwood Springs, CO is seeking a Medical Lead Veterinarian to provide high-quality small animal care while guiding medical standards and mentoring the team. You will manage a diverse caseload including wellness, internal medicine, dentistry, and soft-tissue surgery, while promoting preventive care and client education. This role partners closely with practice leadership to optimize workflows, ensure excellent patient outcomes, and foster a compassionate, client-centered culture. Ideal candidates are collaborative clinicians who enjoy leadership, teaching, and building lasting relationships with pet owners and staff.Provide comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care for dogs and cats
Lead medical decision-making and uphold clinical standards of care
Perform wellness exams, diagnostics, treatment planning, and preventive care
Conduct routine soft-tissue surgeries and dental procedures with anesthesia monitoring
Educate and counsel clients on pet health, treatment options, and preventive care plans
Mentor veterinarians, technicians, and support staff to support clinical development
Collaborate with practice leadership to improve workflows and patient care protocols
Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with veterinary regulations
Foster a compassionate, client-centered, community-focused hospital culture
Small animal internal medicine
Veterinary dentistry and dental radiography
Soft-tissue surgery
Anesthesia and pain management
Diagnostic imaging (radiography/ultrasound coordination)
Laboratory diagnostics and interpretation
