GoodVets is seeking a Lead Veterinarian to guide high-quality, pet-centered care in a modern, locally owned animal hospital. In this role, you’ll oversee medical standards, perform exams, surgery, and dentistry, and ensure an elevated client and pet experience. You’ll mentor veterinarians and technicians, collaborate on hospital operations, and maintain compliant, thorough medical records. With clinical autonomy, advanced technology, and strong support staff, you’ll shape medical protocols, champion a collaborative culture, and help grow a thriving, community-focused practice.
Lead clinical care and medical decision-making for a small animal hospital
Perform exams, diagnostics, surgery, and dentistry with high medical standards
Provide mentorship, training, and case support to associate veterinarians and technicians
Partner with hospital leadership on protocols, quality improvement, and client experience
Communicate clearly with clients, providing education and treatment recommendations
Ensure compliance with veterinary regulations, pharmacy, and medical record standards
Promote a collaborative, pet-centered culture focused on high-quality medicine
Participate in hiring, onboarding, and development of clinical team members
