Description
Greenwich Animal Hospital seeks a Medical Lead to guide high-quality care for dogs, cats, and small animals in a full-service veterinary setting. In this on-site role, you will oversee exams, diagnostics, surgery, and dentistry while coordinating care with a skilled veterinary team. You will develop treatment and preventive care plans, review labs and imaging, and ensure accurate medical records. The position emphasizes compassionate, personalized medicine, strong client education, and mentoring of staff in a collaborative, learning-focused environment dedicated to animal health and well-being.Lead and coordinate daily medical care for canine, feline, and small animal patients
Perform examinations, diagnose conditions, and develop treatment and preventive care plans
Oversee surgeries, anesthesia, and dental procedures following hospital protocols
Collaborate with veterinarians, technicians, and support staff to ensure high-quality care
Educate and counsel clients on pet health, nutrition, and preventive medicine
Review diagnostics, labs, and imaging to guide clinical decisions
Support training and mentorship of clinical team members
Maintain accurate medical records and ensure regulatory compliance
